I was just sitting here reading/watching and thinking through some blogs and videos...and it bothers me and amazes me as to what we perceive as beauty.
It's amazing how media tricks us all into believing what they consider "beautiful" or "how" you become beautiful. As I am raising my little Ella I want her to know that the media image is really nothing but a lie, and that she is beautiful first on the inside and then on the outside. And I want you to know that too. It kinda makes me sick and saddened how we glamorize these women on TV for their "ageless" beauty and body. When in reality today it is mostly nothing more than Photoshoped Phakeness . Because of our idolization of these so called beauties and their style many of you feel you have to meet up to these standards that are not even real. Even for us guys we are tricked into believing what beauty is and often miss it when it is standing right in front of us or speaking directly to us. Next time you see a TV commercial or magazine add or cover...remember what you see in the mirror is more real and more beautiful than the image on the screen or shelf!
Be who you are and who God created you to be...and don't worry bout them haters...
