I'm really loving the lyrics to the new Death Cab for Cutie song. It's funny how you hear/see things from different perspectives when you begin to look at things with spiritual eyes and listen with your heart.

God is wanting to possess my heart...COMPLETELY...not just a portion or a fraction...but totally. This song speaks so deeply to me right now it is unbelievable. The opening line is just a direct statement of God trying to get my attention of the importance of staying close to Him and not trying to do it all on my own. (which everyone is guilty of doing) The relationship and the strength that comes from it; doesn't come just by doing ...but by being. You gotta spend time with Him. And He longs for us to be mirrored reflections of Him...where there is no distinction of where He ends and we begin. He will not give up or relent once we have been His...He will continue to pursue us until He possess our hearts.
