Come Alive

WOW - I listened to this the entire time I was mowing the grass today. I'm a Foo Fan and have had this CD for a long while but never really caught the lyrics of this song until today!!

"You saved me the day You came Alive" How many of us have layed there in the dark with our eyes closed just waiting to be saved from our selves and just feel alive. Life can sometime seem "monochrome and monotoned." We are meant to live life to the fullest. Think about the spiritual implications of this...we find life when we die to ourselves and are given new life through the power and love that brought Christ back from the dead. Are you stuck in the dark, sterile and desperate. Close your eyes and find rest in the one who gives life. I pray you come alive!!

Romans 8:10-11

10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life[a] because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
