DecemBeard

I missed No Shave November for the second year in a row. So I participated in Decembeard. A term given by my good friend Andy. It sort of happened on a whim. I needed a little stubble for my Redneck scene in our annual Christmas Dinner Theater. At the end of the event I thought, "I've never had a beard, and it's been a few days since my last shave. Why Not!"

And a few days later there it was in all it's glory. My first beard. I it carried around for right at a month and received several comments.

-My Wife - " I hate it, shave your face! Mountain Man!"
-My Ella - "Dad your face is nasty - go wash it."
-My Dad - "Are you growing beard?"
-My Mom - "Woa! What beard!" ....many times repeatedly within a span of 5 minutes
-Rodney - "Ha! What's on your face."
-Brittni - "You really have a lot of hair on your face."
-Church Member - "It makes you look older. More manly. I can take you more seriously."
-Jennifer - "You kinda look like the Unabomber!" - when i was wearing a hoodie jacket over my head

I shaved this morning. and now my face is kinda cold and lonely. I thought about some alternatives to the beard but not real sure as to which is more me. I really like the Mutton Chops, but actually returned to the good ole trusty soul patch (aka a mouche). But which one do you think I could pull of?

A. Friendly Mutton Chops

B. Horseshoe mustache and Soulpatch

C. Mustache and SoulPatch

For more info on bears check out this site I found - after I shaved...arghh.
