I saw this little Dove film at a youth worker's training workshop today. Really only word describes this. POWERFUL! Having a beautiful innocent 2 yr old daughter I want her to begin knowing that she is beautiful just the way she is. I tell her constantly that she is pretty and beautiful. Those words are so very important for a daughter to hear from her father. If she doesn't hear them from him, then as she gets older she will look to others to tell her that and may sacrifice much more than a hug. It is up to us, dads, to enable them to love who they are not by comparing themselves to cultural expectations, but by the confidence in knowing who they are and Who created them.
If there are any other ladies out there that may read this. Watch this...read Psalms 139 especially verses 13-16 and then jump over to Proverbs 61 v10 to truly see what should make a woman beautiful in the eyes of the one she wants for a mate.
